Last week our scientists conducted their own experiment to practice what they have learned about the Scientific Method.
Question : Will a wet tennis ball bounce as high as a dry one?
Hypothesis: A wet tennis ball will not bounce as high as a dry one.
Students then followed the procedure and conducted an experiment. They worked together, in groups, outside to test their hypothesis. They were right! The wet tennis balls didn't bounce as high as the dry ones.

Analyze Data: Groups then graphed their results and analyzed the data.
Conclusion: Playing tennis in the rain will cause tennis balls to bounce lower than they will on a sunny day!
New Questions:
Are the wet tennis balls heavier than the dry ones?
Does rain alter other sports as well?
